Aslan by Selçuk Yılmaz

6 ft. tall. 10 ft. long. Weighs about 250 kg. Handcrafted by Turkish sculptor, Selçuk Yılmaz, from nearly 4000 pieces of scrap metal taking over an year to complete. While “majestic” is the first word we may associate with the beast, I’d say this is beyond majestic – “awe inspiring” probably comes close. More photos and details can be found here.
