For someone who is at his creative best in the darkness of the night, I have often wondered why I get drawn to anything that has to do with light…the rising and setting of the sun, candles, lamp-posts, oil lamps…anything. Maybe the one accustomed to the darkness is the only one who values the flickering of the light.
