For My Loved Ones

“Your love should never be offered to the mouth of a stranger.
Only to someone who has the valor and daring
to cut pieces of their soul off with a knife,
then weave them in to a blanket to protect you.”

– Hafez

I came across this sculpture during our stopover in Sedona enroute to the Grand Canyon.  This and the poem remind me of how much more I could have done for my loved ones, especially for Kasturi, which I haven’t done. Caught up with my work and absorbed in dealing with my own challenges, I have neglected many. Today I am standing at a turning point and I do not know if it is too late to repair the damage or if its the right time to make a new start. I am praying that my heart and my mind be guided towards doing the right thing.
