From Atop The Eiffel Tower

In an earlier post, I shared some photos of the Eiffel Tower itself (more in an architectural sense). But the more (obviously) interesting part about the visit was getting the bird’s eye view of the city of Paris from the top. It was a cloudy day with a hint of rains to come anytime. But we got lucky – it didn’t rain till we descended from the tower and were about to head over to Champs-Élysées. This way I could get some clear photos from above of the city some swear to be the most romantic…

    • Thank you, Janice! I took my Mum to Paris that time and we pretty much did the usual sights – the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, the cathedral of Notre Dame, the going up the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees… We wanted to check out the Eiffel Tower at night, when its lit up – you should really try that. I am sure it will be decked up for Christmas. And if its open around that time, I would recommend taking some time off to visit the palace of Versailles close by. I wish you a wonderful time in Paris – it’ll be beautiful around Christmas!!

    • Well, now you kinda know how it looks like from the top… 🙂 Glad that you like it. I have seen only half as much, spent only half the time as I would like to in Paris. I’ll take your tip next time I’m there.
