Tale Of Two Rivers – Traben-Trarbach

Over Easter we did a weekend trip to the Mosel valley… starting with the town of Traben-Trarbach, moving on to Cochem and then finally driving down the Rhine valley back to Frankfurt… The Mosel and the Rhine valleys are two very picturesque regions and very well known for their wines…

Like a fool I forgot the camera at home, but decided nonetheless to capture the memories with the help of my phone. And did I take a bit too many photos?!! So, this trip is covered in three posts.. this is the first one of the series covering our stay in Traben-Trarbach.

On the way back this charming white house by the road side looked just so pretty sitting there amongst all those trees. The picture seems a contrast as if tempting the traveller to choose comfort (house) over adventure (the road stretching ahead). Well...that was a bit of a random musing, I guess... (April 2015)
