This little idol of Ganapati adorning the altar at home. (Sep 2015)

This small statue of Ganapati has been with me for about 9 years now. It was put up in my old car for good luck and safe travels – since then, the car has been replaced, but little Ganapati stayed on. As for its looks – it reflects the benevolence we seek from our gods; its kind of comforting to just look at it and think/hope that someone up there is watching your back.
