Leaving Walpertskirchen

Last month I bid farewell to Walpertskirchen after spending just about 2 years there. I will miss it…not just the small apartment that I had there, but the countryside, being surrounded by open fields, seeing the foothills of the Alps in the distance on a clear day, the late night drives back from work… I had really nice neighbors too.

My mum thinks it made me more of a loner…the isolation (I preferred to call it solitude) there was not good for me. Socializing was a bit cumbersome due to the distance, but it didn’t matter that much… Whatever the case, that place has seen me go through some life-changing moments…
