Partnachklamm

While I have been to Garmisch many times before, it was my first visit to the Partnachklamm – a gorge with a raging torrent of alpine meltwater. The sound of the waters jostling within the narrow confines drowned out my innermost thoughts, while the shadows around mirrored the state of my own mind…

The walk towards the end of the gorge where the stream broadens out and the waters calm down oddly seemed like a meditative exercise… very symbolic.
