During my visit to Neuschwanstein with my Mum in December 2013, I decided to take a longer route back to the hotel after having visited the castle…you know, drive around the countryside a bit…just one of my long drives. It led me to a picturesque little village called Hopfen am See. It was early evening around 5 pm, it was so still – hardly anyone out on the streets … the stillness perfectly reflected in the waters of the lake.

So still, that I think the reflection seems to have more clarity than the real thing.
